KARIS HORTIN
I am currently a senior in college. I remember going into my freshmen year. I was so excited, yet so nervous. I ended up transferring schools after my first semester. The following couple semesters were not easy. I dealt with a lot of loneliness, depression, and severe anxiety. I am doing much better now, but if it were not for the help of my friends, family, and mentors I don’t know where I would be today.
I created this course because I want to be that person for you. I want you to avoid all the unnecessary pains of college. Through this college guide my hope is you feel a little more prepared for college, but most importantly, I hope you find a community of people who feel exactly the way you do.
This stage of life can be difficult, but I want you to know you don’t have to navigate it alone. Looking forward to have you join our community.
